1/6/09, I have noticed that RipOff Report.com is now allowing advertizing by John Beck, Free'N Clear with a disclaimer that Beck will do better from now on. Now I can only find 5 reports, dating back to 2005 and 2006, also with their disclaimer attached on the ripoff report site. Are you willing to take the chance that John Beck and his cronies will improve their dealings?? I, for one, wouldn't give any of them all the s**t they could eat and I hope you won't either. You have to question RipOff Report's honesty. Are they selling us out??? Thank for letting me speak my mind about this. Charlie

I was at my Mother's apartment in Mesa, Arizona for the Christmas/New Years holidays, and my last evening there we seen this infamercial. I begain getting "sucked in" but I decided to investigate further before ssnding them a single penny of my hard earned cash. So I told my Mom that I would check this out on the internet when I got home in Los Angeles. Thank you for saving me from throwing my money away! I knew this was way too good to be true, and I appreciate your information. Again, Thank you. Sincerely, Suzanne E. Antonetti

My mother saw this advertisement on TV and we had known that there was a big market in foreclosures for quite some time. We thought this would be our foot in the door and that we might be able to get some good information since we didn't really know anything about the business. Well this program certainly didn't help and it only made us feel more inhibited about getting into real estate if we have to deal with people like this. When the package arrived I really couldn't believe how much of a pathetic joke it was. It comes with these CDs filled with videos of John Beck stuttering and mumbling on about nonsense that barely has anything to do with being anything remotely educational. He absolutely loves bolstering about how much he's accomplished using his "system", but he never not one single time explains to you how to get started. He just rambles on and on and on..... The thing about teaching you to buy foreclosed properties through the mail is blown out of proportion as well, as you only are able to do that in one state and the book itself even tells you about the many disadvantages of doing it this as opposed to attending a live auction. Seems to me all they did was teach you why you SHOULDN'T do it, not give you instructions on how it can be done in your local area which was promised in the TV ad. As far as buying the properties online, boy what a hilarious sharade. His property vault is literally a DIRECT rip off of the listing they show on [] right down to the way the tables look on the website. His page simply updates as theirs does with the same info. The listings on both sites really don't mean a thing anyway because even inside the actual files it doesn't tell you how much is owed on the property or even the address or any photographs what so ever. So you could be buying a flat piece of land or an abandoned factory falling to pieces from fire damage. Who knows? Certainly not them and certainly not you either! The package comes with a little pamphlet telling you to go ahead and call your mentor in so you can get coaching into buying your first foreclosure property and tips on how to start making some money as quickly as possible. I first told this guy my situation, what my goals were, and asked him how I could accomplish them. His response was that I didn't make enough money and that I needed to save up at least 2000-3000 dollars to get started even though people on the advertisement said they were able to buy properties with little to no money down. Now that I've found this site, it appears that if I'd actually saved that money and called the guy back he would have simply stolen it from me and left me with nothing. All the while paying 50 bucks a month and for what? This program is useless, the people running it are useless and John Beck and his entire entourage are a group of lying bastards that need to be shut down and sent to prison on charges of false advertisement, theft, embezzlement and who knows what else. And to see these people who have given them thousands upon thousands of dollars over the phone and having their bank accounts overdrafted and their life savings whisked away to a false prophet that deserves no less punishment than to be publicly hanged. It makes me absolutely sick. If americans had any balls at all, they'd be outside the office where these people operate so they could drag them into the streets and beat them into bloody pulps until they got every cent back they unrighteously stole from the hard working folks who were just trying to get a break.

I just want to say that most all tv advertised "Momey Making ideas" are False. I Truly belive that things like this should be illegal. John Beck and is a con-artist and exploits decent hard working americans out of their hard earned money. I'm sure he has made hundreds of thousands of dollars by just scaming people out of their money with this program. Please take my advice America, people like John beck dont want to help you make money, rather they want to hurt you to help themselves make money.

DOOOO NOTT BUYY ITT, if you want i can copy all this information that i have (since they only gave me a refund on 1) on the second one and send it to you and you can find out his so called secrets for free! THEYRE a RIPP OFF

I purchased the product and returned it within two weeks, they did refund there price but not the shipping and handling. This was done in October and since then have been harassed weekly from the company even though with every call they make to me I tell them this was returned. Yesterday I received three calls within three hours from them. Do not purchase this. I have told them I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

This product is crap. the only way to make money with this system is to sell the worthless system to unsuspecting people. I agree that the people on here that are posting supporting comments must work for the company. Its very easy to do, it only took me 3 seconds to sign in and post a comment. There is nothing contained in these books that is not common knowledge. Its a rip off. Do Not Buy this Product. You'll get phone calls from telemarketers relentlessly every night, even after you cancel. Be Ware!! and John Beck, if you disagree with me, email me and we'll discuss, but you're full of crap and i can prove it.

I wish I had found this site before ordering. After being charged $39.95 on my debit card, I plan to march right into the bank on Monday and stop payment. I worked in real estate for a few years and expected to get information about the tax laws in each state (which JB does provide, although no more than you could get from the tax collector)and access to actual listings of properties about to be sold for tax deliquency. The property vault only gives you county listings that you have to pay an additional fee for. It was worthless! I didn't bother to pay another dime to John Beck to see if the county listings were actually legit! I should have simply contacted the tax office in neighboring counties and asked about tax sales there. That will be my strategy from here.

Hi, First of all, not all of those comments are complaints. There are positive messages. I do have John Beck's booklets and I consider the information useful and usable. You got to do your homework, though! Get the idea and dig into the data. Know EXACTLY what You want to get and this material is usable as reference. Slightly outdated, but it is natural 'cause it is a popular course. Being a money manager it strikes me as outright weird, if a person who is willing to send $15,000.00 or more to anybody over the phone or give so freely out personal and financial info is trying to be an expert on a course that he or she has not even tried to use. There were several such "cases" among those comments. To everyone his own. Good course, by the way. Simple, easy way to get started with investing. I would recommend to anyone. But know, what you want, first. Happy investing! Ben

I decided to try John Beck Free and Clear. They charged me an additional $9000.00 to go to a conference in Vegas. At this conference the were selling properties. Stating that for example properties in the Poconos in PA I was told that I could sell these properties for a profit if I paid $1500.00 I could sell the property for $3000.00. After purchasing the property I found out that they couldn't be built on which wasn't what I was told John Beck bought the property back but at a loss to me they deducted 15% of the price I paid. What upsets me the most was they called me on the phone and told me they had this awesome deal for me. 40acres in Colorado for $11,000. that this property was going fast and I could turn around and sell it for $22,000. So I went for it needless to say I couldn't sell it. Now I found someone who was interested. But they wanted to know the assessment value of the home. So I called The assessment office in Colorado to find out that this property is only worth around $6000.00. I told the woman This is all it's worth and I paid $11k. She said if it's any consulation you are not the only one this has happened too. Oh and by the way at the conference in Vegas John Beck said he would never sell something that wasn't sellable or scam anyone because his wife wouldn't let him do such a thing. What a Crock!!! As far as people saying you have to work at this I worked as long and hard as the next person and never made a dime. Stay away from John Beck he is a crook and because he is a lawyer he know how to scam you and get away with it.

I bought the product from the TV add and got my statement from the bank and $70 was taken out not $39.95 + a Small shipping fee. Now I can not talk to anyone on the phone and when the automated system picks up the voice just keeps saying I did not understand what you are saying, if you don't respond I will hang up in a few seconds and they do!!! I will have to cancel through the CC as I can't contact the John Beck Group!

I am resently from Norway and caled the company. This poeple wanted to set me up with a realtor coach to help me for $10,000 American. That sounded too much to me so I told him that I cannot do this. He then became unplesant and said I do not understand the business, but if I gave him $10,000 American he would help me make $ one million American. I told him I would call him back in 15 minits with my []. Instead, I did reserch on the internet about this business and found to many disagreements with them. I have receaved about 14 mes sages from them in 10 days asking me to call back. I think they our not truth telling. Thank you.

This is a pure scam. The material is very vague and there is no clear direction on how to proceed. It sounded great but is a waste of time. On top of everything they try to get you to invest into their training program. They asked me for $12,500 down to put on credit card. They are very smooth talkers and great sales people as they promise the world and try to stroke your ego. They tell you you are part of selected few people who they offer this opportunity and it is not open to everyone. They then go on to say they make all thier money on the infomericals and this "deposit" is to make sure you stick around for the training. They call you back multiple times saying they are trying to connect you with the VP of the program to see if he likes you and if you qualify to be part of thier training program. When the supposed VP gets on the phone he promises you will you will get your "Deposit" back and more. Plus he says not to worry because you have 30 days of leverage on your credit cards and you should make this money back in time to pay the bill. Complete BS.... avoid this at all costs!!!

i bought the john beck program and this program was for $2,300 and believed that i would get 3 to 4 months coaching and [] that i didn't want after the first coaching section and i told [] this right after the coaching section with her and he said we will get you another coach. [] lead me to a county in fl that has certicate lien which i was working toward a deed lien and i told her in the second coaching section that i researched California that has deed liens and wanted to focus there. she said NO,we need to get you something so i can graduate you week next would of been my fourth week. i reseached every county in fl and none are deed lien counties. today i called to get out of this mess because everytime you turn around john beck says and if you need that information you can also buy that from us. then a guy called and said that i should get a llc in nevada or wyoming because california state tax are high and then again pay someone fifty nine ninty five to cover my ass from paying california taxes when i buy something and sell it, oh yea and that would only cost me almost twenty five hundred. i told him to call me in a couple days and i need to do some research and i found a company in california that would do all the needed papers for a llc for less then four hundred dollars. today i call the help desk and they said call customer service and i called them and they said no call the resolution dept but she did give me this complaint website to express this company is bad juw juw.... then i called the number what i thought was the resolution dept and the man said oh i was one day over from getting a total refund. i signed up nov 18 and so i'm a day late for a refund....what ever john beck you deal with that karma....the man said he'd send me a paper over night to sign to get out of this night and day mare. i spent way more then five to ten hours a week researching what [] told and seeing if this could work for me to just fill a couple of dreams i had for myself and others. i'm done,i'm done,

TO []: Your story is crap. You know its crap. Why did you post it here and not in "defenses" ? Its because your a shill for the company. Everyone knows the program is a scam, as the program does not work in many states due to various laws. Also, if a "coach" was really needed, it would be advertised in the informercial, but its not, the $40 is just the "hook" to get you roped into the scam. Further, If this "system" worked, why would anyone want to make $40 on it? They wouldn't. They would be going nuts landing deal after deal and making tons of cash. Of course, its just a scam. All these infomercials were they say its $40 and then want THOUSANDS for additional info is a scam Look people, its 2008. Any and all info is on the internet. In fact, if you are net savvy, you can find all the John Beck program material on the net for free. dont waste your time or money on this company or on its SHILLS !

John Becks is the one company that can get you there to the right website to the proper location of the property. Take the time to see if it works. I did I now make a great 6 figures. I have been in the progam for 14 months. I finished the coaching sessions in august of 2008. Been on my own for two months and am doing very well. not bad for being a bartender for the last 10 years. I can actually breath better as well. (not so much smoke). I am on my way to 7 figures by the month of july 2009. Good luck to the rest of you. wish more of you would get off your a##. But hey it leaves more for us that have to chose from so thanks for that. By the way i write this to you from Cabo Were me and my family are spending Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not bad for only investing $5675.00 just a year ago. Hey maybe on day i can purchase your forclosed home. Look, you are all a bunch of lazy people. the program works if you follow the instructions. This is not a get rich quick scam as most of you would like to belive. If you want real numbers check them out for yourself. google tax deeds or tax certificate. see how many websites you pull up. And why, Because it is a legit business. The reason you find so many is there are scams out there. Now as far as the coaching program. The amount you invest into the program is to hold you accountable. (and i did get my initial investment back. with that i purchased 5 property's)So in actual numbers the program cost me $1075.00 75. for the program and 1000. for sitting here writing this. time is money. Why would they work with someone that is lazy and thinks that someone is going to do all the work for you. 30 years in the investing business. John Beck has been. And they Gurantee the investment to you in legal writing. they record the conversation when you sign up for the coaching program. To protect not only them but you. Then once you have the paper work that is to you within 72 hours. you have a 3day writ of ressision. in other words YOU CAN BACK YOUR POOR BROKE LAZY @## OUT. Serious people. if you are going to want to learn to invest in tax deed and tax certificate property. I checked out the scam sites i checked out the bbb. fbi. fcc. as someone had put it. Check out [] on the bbb they have had more complaints with less resolved then has Mentoring of america/John Becks Free and Clear.... I got to go the Sun is Setting into the Ocean and my children need me. Enjoy your holiday. I know i will. 45 days of vacation. Jace from las vegas.

Like the rest of you, I got ripped off by John (Scumbag) Beck's Free & Clear property scam. I ordered the cd's and the next thing I knew they were calling me wanting me to invest $6,000.00 for his classes. I rejected the first call and then they called back, and I paid after they promised me that John Beck had 13 properties waiting for me to buy once I completed the training. After completeing the training, I was left high and dry. I called the coaches hotline about the properties and they acted like we never promised you anything. I got a little upset with them, and I told them if I ever saw John Beck, I was going to knock the scumbag out. Also, that property valult of John Becks is completely outdated. I called some of the counties that were to have sales in the winter months, but when I called the county clerk would say that they didn't have any forclosure sales in the winter months. I'm lucky as I have paid off my credit card company, but I wish I could get in to a class action law suit against Scumbag Beck. I just turned on the TV this morning, and he's still out here pitching his sale. I feel that everyone that has been taken by this scumbag should contact their State's Attorney General and maybe get a nationwide class action lawsuit going against Scumbag Beck.
